Hotel prices in the second half of the National Day holiday are at their lowest

According to Ctrip data, the number of tourists on October 3 and 4 remained high, and the number of hotels and air tickets booked temporarily continued to grow. Compared with October 2, the number of bookings on October 3 increased by 11%. The airfares on October 3 and 4 were low, becoming the lowest point of the holiday, while the prices will peak on October 6 and 7. Taking off-peak travel as an example, the round-trip airfare from Beijing to Urumqi from October 4 to 11 is only 1,300 yuan (excluding tax), which is 75% cheaper than the price from October 1 to 7, saving about 4,000 yuan. Similarly, there are similar discounts for outbound travel, such as the 60% reduction in airfare from Beijing to Osaka on October 4 to 2,800 yuan (excluding tax). Hotel prices are more affordable in the later stages of the holiday. For example, the order price in Altay, Xinjiang from October 4 to 5 was 20% lower than that from October 1 to 2, and the hotel prices in Nanjing and many other places even dropped by more than 50% from October 6 to 7.
